We are seeking an experienced Technical officer/Architect to join our architectural office. The Technical officer/Architect will be responsible for leading and supervising the preparation of technical drawings from schematic design through to tender documentation. This role involves managing the drafting process within the office, coordinating between different disciplines (architecture, structure, MEP), and ensuring that design intent is accurately translated into high-quality technical documentation.

• Oversee and supervise the drafting of drawings in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Translate schematic and design concepts into accurate, detailed, and buildable documentation.
• Ensure that all drawings and BIM models are precise, consistent, and aligned with project requirements.
• Lead and guide the drafting team in producing drawings, details, and schedules.
• Conduct regular reviews of drawing sets to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior staff and draftsmen.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other consultants to integrate their work into architectural documentation.
• Resolve technical issues and ensure multi-disciplinary coordination is fully reflected in the final packages.
• Communicate effectively with project managers and design leads regarding technical decisions.
• Implement quality control procedures for all documentation.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, authority requirements, and project specifications.
• Review and check tender packages before submission.

• Bachelor’s degree must be in Architecture (mandatory).
• 7+ years of professional experience in technical design and documentation within an architectural office.
• Proven experience supervising drafting teams and overseeing project documentation.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD (mandatory).
• Strong understanding of BIM workflows and standards.
• Knowledge of building systems (structural, MEP) and their integration with architectural design.
• Knowledge of Civil design, Mechanical systems, Electrical systems, and HVAC system.
• Strong technical detailing and construction knowledge.
• Leadership and team supervision skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Bilingual (Arabic and English).

• Experience with medium-to-large-scale projects (residential, commercial, or mixed-use).
• Familiarity with Saudi building codes and submission requirements.
• Experience reviewing shop drawings and supporting site coordination.
