The Project Director – Ski Slopes role will be primarily responsible for overseeing and directing the construction programme during the full life-cycle of the implementation phase. Liaise with the design teams to review buildability and development of project schedule, deliverables, and cost estimates. Oversee the construction management teams to ensure delivery of established project aims and objectives.

1. Engage with the design teams to provide constructability feedback in respect of feasibility analysis, project design, appraisal and value identification.
2. Lead the development of Project Execution Plans, which should be leveraged to draw up effective contracts to communicate project requirements to the implementation teams.
3. Oversee the assembly of project teams and professional consultants and manage their input through the construction process.
4. Report construction status (schedule, cost, and quality) to project delivery, and ensure the continuing development of schedule master plans through the detailing of periodic work-plans and progress trackers.
5. Drive best value decision-making to ensure construction moves forward, minimising delays and setbacks in the drive to attain Project KPI’s.
6. Post Completion, effective handover to asset owner/manager.
7. Lead team retrospective programme to ensure “lessons learned” are leveraged from project insights, to facilitate rapid improvement in the on-going construction programme and ensure that structured feedback is provided on delivery team performance.

1. 12+ years of construction experience, with at least 6 years senior executive experience earned with major construction companies.
2. 6+ years of construction experience gained in the Gulf Region.
3. Demonstrated track record of the delivery of complex and high-value construction projects.
4. Extensive knowledge of all facets of construction implementation.
5. Proven construction feasibility and project planning experience.
6. Demonstrated commercial acumen through business experience (either through ownership or major P&L ownership as an executive).
7. Financial management experience.
8. Residential and ultra-luxury hospitality experience.
9. General knowledge of business processes.
10. Ability and willingness to travel when necessary.
11. Ability to analyze and resolve complex issues, both logical and interpersonal.
12. Ability to negotiate and defuse conflict.
13. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
14. Proven innovator.
15. Experience leading and managing high performing individuals and teams.
16. Ability to be a team player that motivates and educates other team members and comprehends complex, technical subjects.
17. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with a diverse group of individuals.

1. Bachelor of Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent qualification.
