Key Responsibilities
- Lead or conduct risk management workshop for turnarounds for different facilities.
- Assist / Conduct scope challenge workshop for turnarounds for different facilities.
- Assist / Conduct schedule challenge workshop for turnarounds for different facilities.
- Review the progress and quality of the deliverables during the turnaround life cycle and all the phases and come out with convincing recommendations for improvements.
- Assist / Review Key Performance Indicators for turnarounds.
- Review implementation of stage‑gated turnaround processes in different facilities.
- Assist / Lead turnaround assurance review or cold‑eye review of turnaround preparation of different facilities to have a predictable outcome and improvement.
- Work as an influencer and motivate turnaround planning team of different facilities to implement best practices, lessons learned to enhance quality, safety, and competitiveness.
- Develop and coordinate maintenance programs, procedures and systems across maintenance activities, ensuring their effectiveness and continuous improvements.
- Participate in major Turnaround & Inspection (T&Is) and emergency plant shutdowns, focusing on planning, scheduling, quality assurance and execution.
- Provide technical support to maintenance teams by developing repair procedures and monitoring on‑going repairs.
- Lead or participate in scope development, development of contract strategy, technical bid evaluations and procurements to ensure efficient and cost‑effective execution.
- Review and approve repair procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Evaluate and review design packages for small projects, covering scope of work, assembly/erection procedures, welding procedures, NDT requirements, material selection and technical drawings.
- Lead the planning, procurement and execution of expense projects to optimize efficiency and resource utilization.
- Lead and run Community of Practice to collect and disseminate the best practices and knowledge between all refining and petrochemical assets.
Qualifications
- BS in Mechanical.
- Experience in turnaround planning software such as Prometheus, ROSER and Primavera P6, and any other end‑to‑end solutions for turnaround and outage management.
- Knowledge and experience in turnaround stage‑gated concept.
- Experience in conducting turnaround assurance is preferred.
- Understanding of competitiveness and Solomon indices pertaining to turnaround performance.
- Experience in turnaround budgeting and cost optimization.
- Experience in contracting strategy, contract scope preparation, and technical bid evaluation for turnaround contracts.
- Experience in turnaround materials & resources management.
- Experience in close‑out activities such as critique, post‑turnaround reports development, and lessons learned documentation.
- Experience in turnaround risk management.
- Experience in cost benchmarking such as Solomon is preferable.
- SAP system proficiency.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
