Job summary
A leading retail store in Malaysia is seeking an individual to assist with stocktake and auditing processes. Responsibilities include conducting surprise audits, drafting and sharing audit findings, and ensuring compliance with store policies. The ideal candidate should possess a Diploma/Degree in Finance or Accounting, have a good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, and have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office. Willingness to work overnight shifts and travel frequently is required.
Qualifications
- Possess a Diploma/Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent qualification.
- Good command in both spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Basic knowledge in using Microsoft software (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
- Knowledge in retail audits and stocktake.
Responsibilities
- Assist with stores and warehouse stocktake and ensure completion of investigations.
- Conduct stores surprise audit as per QSC and ZTC checklists.
- Brief audit findings during exit meetings with store management.
- Draft, finalize, and share audit findings and reports with management.
- Conduct in-store surprise cash count and warehouse delivery checks.
- Handle ad-hoc requests from HQ for compliance.
- Conduct case investigations on non-compliance reports.
- Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management.
Skills
Education
Assist with stores and warehouse stocktake and ensure completion of all stocktake investigations are on the same day
Conduct stores surprise audit accordance with the QSC and ZTC checklists at least one store per day
Brief the audit findings during exit meetings with store manager/PIC
Draft, finalize and share the audit findings and reports with management
Conduct in-store surprise cash count and warehouse delivery check as well as handle ad-hoc request from HQ to ensure the store is 100% compliance with the store policy
Conduct case investigation on non-compliance case report to HQ for required action
Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management that deemed relevant
Possess a Diploma/Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent qualification
Good command in both spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia
Basic knowledge in using Microsoft software (Excel, Word and Powerpoint)
Knowledge in retail audits and stocktake
Fast learner with good time management skill
Able to work under tight deadlines with pressure
Posses good communication and interpersonal skills
Good team player
Must willing to work in an overnight shift if there are required case investigation to be conducted
Must possess own transport as travel is required
Able to travel frequently including outstation
