Job description

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall promotion of data governance projects, including consulting on data quality, data standards, and metadata, as well as cross‑departmental coordination.
• Conduct research and analysis independently on data quality issues with business departments, write product requirement documents and develop data quality solutions.
• Understand data standard concepts and implementation plans for data standards in systems, guide relevant systems to implement the standards, and continuously improve the effectiveness of standard implementation.
• Participate in pre‑sales and product development support for data governance.

Qualifications

• Education Qualification: At least a bachelor’s degree or above, with preference given to candidates majoring in Financial Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Management and Information Systems, or related fields.
• Industry Experience: Passionate about banking operations, understanding and able to analyze data flow and distribution in information systems; experience in banking and financial data warehousing, data marts, regulatory reporting, report development, and ETL development is preferred.
• Technical Competencies: Familiar with and proficient in the basic concepts and implementation methodologies of data governance, data standards, data quality, metadata management, and data security in the banking and financial industry. Proficient in SQL syntax, able to analyze data quality issues based on SQL, and capable of SQL data development work.
• Effective Communicator & Problem Solving: Strong communication and problem‑solving skills; preference will be given to candidates with outstanding document‑writing abilities.
• Strong sense of responsibility, meticulous and rigorous work ethic, ability to work under pressure, good communication and coordination skills, and a strong sense of teamwork.
• Travel: Willing to travel overseas – mainly Southeast Asian & Middle East.

Additional Requirements

• Regulatory Experience: Experience in regulatory reporting for banks, financial institutions, or related fields.
