A leading plantation company is seeking an experienced Supervisor to manage the day-to-day operations of their oil palm plantation in Kedah. The successful candidate will oversee plantation workers, ensuring efficient and sustainable cultivation practices. Key responsibilities include monitoring tree health, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Ideal applicants should have at least 5 years of supervisory experience and strong knowledge of oil palm cultivation methods. This is a full-time on-site position offering competitive compensation.
We are looking for an experienced Supervisor the day-to-day operations of our oil palm plantation in Bukit Selambau, Kedah. As the Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a team of plantation workers and ensuring the efficient and sustainable cultivation of our oil palm crops. This is a full-time position based on-site at our plantation location.
Supervise and coordinate the work of plantation workers to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Monitor the health and growth of oil palm trees, and implement appropriate cultivation and maintenance practices.
Maintain detailed records of plantation activities, including labour, harvesting, and production data.
Identify and address any issues or challenges that arise in the plantation, and implement corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Assist in the planning and implementation of plantation expansion or improvement projects.
Provide regular progress reports to the plantation manager and other stakeholders.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within the oil palm or other agricultural plantation industry.
Strong working knowledge of oil palm cultivation practices, including fertilisation, pest and disease management, and harvesting techniques.
Excellent organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team of plantation workers.
Proficient in data collection, record-keeping, and report writing.
Adaptable to changing conditions and able to make informed decisions in a timely manner.
Willing to work outdoors in a plantation environment and adhere to health and safety protocols.
Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English, both written and spoken.
