Job summary

A prominent cultural organization in Malaysia is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee daily building operations and manage event logistics. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience in operations supervision, with strong leadership and organizational skills. Responsibilities include coordinating maintenance tasks, managing event setups, and ensuring smooth execution of functions. Candidates should be analytical thinkers, able to multitask, and proficient in Microsoft Office tools. Willingness to work shifts, including weekends, is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in operations supervision or related roles.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
• Experience in event operations or large-function space management is an advantage.
• Analytical thinker with good problem-solving skills.
• Willing to work on a shift duty basis, including weekends and event days.
• Familiarity with AV systems and logistics coordination is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day building operations and lead the operations team.
• Coordinate with the Maintenance team for preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Report operational issues and support continuous improvement efforts.
• Act as the on-site supervisor for events and functions, ensuring smooth execution from setup to teardown.
• Oversee pre-event logistics, equipment setup, troubleshooting, and post-event closure activities.
• Manage venue readiness, cleanliness, and operational flow during scheduled events.
