Alton Intelligent Technology Sdn. Bhd. is wholly foreign-owned by Alton Industry Ltd. Group, a US-based global supplier of household products and industrial tools, with a total land area of 45.25 acres.

The base in Malaysia has established a comprehensive complex of six full-featured factories. These factories integrate motor assembly, sheet metal processing, injection moulding, general assembly lines, and automated intelligent warehousing.

In addition to the core production and storage areas, it also carefully designed a five-story modern office building, two three-story canteens and activity centers full of life, and four five-story dormitory buildings.

Position Overview

Responsible for providing comprehensive operational support and coordination for the production workshop. The role oversees administration and logistics, manpower support, production data management, and clerical team supervision, ensuring efficient and orderly daily operations to support the achievement of production targets.

What You’ll Be Doing

Oversee daily administrative and logistics matters of the production workshop, including office supplies, PPE, material issuance, and air ticket arrangements for workshop personnel traveling in and out.

Support and implement 5S, on-site standards, and basic workplace environment management in the workshop.

Based on production manpower requirements, assist HR in the recruitment of frontline operators and junior positions. Support interview arrangements, onboarding-day coordination, and workshop placement. Follow up on new employees’ reporting status, job assignment, and probationary performance feedback.

Coordinate the collection, verification, and consolidation of attendance, leave, overtime, and shift data for workshop employees. Follow up on attendance exceptions and coordinate with team leaders, clerks, and HR for confirmation and correction. Submit regular attendance and overtime reports to support payroll processing.

Assist in handling daily employee communication, feedback, grievances, and basic employee relations matters. Follow up on disciplinary issues such as lateness, absenteeism, and misconduct, and support HR in executing related procedures.

Coordinate the printing, issuance, and retrieval of production documents, including production orders, BOMs, and work instructions. Organize the filing, archiving, and basic management of production documents.

Be responsible for the collection, review, and consolidation of daily, weekly, and monthly production reports. Verify data submitted by clerical staff to ensure accuracy, and provide basic data support and statistical analysis for production management.

Manage the daily operations and task allocation of the production clerical team, supervise work quality, promptly correct errors, and drive continuous improvement.

What We Are Looking For

3–5 years of experience in manufacturing production sites or comprehensive operational support roles. Experience in clerical or frontline team management is preferred. Candidates with experience as workshop administration staff, production assistant, or production clerical supervisor are highly desirable.

Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with strong data compilation and verification skills. Familiar with production processes, work order management, and attendance management logic. Detail-oriented with high data sensitivity.

Strong capability in frontline team supervision and task allocation, with good communication and coordination skills to work effectively among production, HR, and clerical teams.

Basic knowledge of Malaysia labor laws and regulations; candidates with HR-related working experience will be an advantage.

Strong execution capability and resilience under pressure, able to adapt to the fast-paced environment of manufacturing operations.
