About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our construction site in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the work of our on-site construction crew, ensuring the successful and timely completion of our projects.

What you'll be doing

• Oversee and coordinate the work of construction crews, including carpenters, masons, electricians, and other tradespeople
• Monitor and ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety standards
• Liaise with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to address issues and coordinate project activities
• Maintain accurate records of project progress, material usage, and labour hours
• Identify and resolve any problems or bottlenecks that may arise on-site
• Provide training and guidance to junior supervisors and crew members
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

What we\'re looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Supervisor or in a similar role in the construction industry
• Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills to address issues that may arise on-site
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, plans, and specifications
• Familiarity with local construction regulations and safety standards
• Strong organisational and time management skills
