Qualifications

Responsibilities

• To assist and support Senior Drilling Supervisor on organizing, coordinating and supervising the service Companies work to ensure a smooth and efficient operations progress in compliance with COMPANY production operation requirements, strategies and objectives with cost optimization.
• Ensures that all well site operations are conducted as per the drilling program issued by Drilling Department and detail job instructions issued by Senior Drilling Supervisor to gain efficiency and optimization in drilling operations.
• Monitor and follow-up contracted staff for the progress of all operations works on well site (coring, liner, casing running, simultaneous drilling and production), completion and well testing
• Follow-up the plan for the material, equipment, personnel and vessel movement to rig and ensure that the equipment sent to the rig are correct and in good condition.
• Responsible to collect, prepare, compile and summarize the drilling activities, problems and various reports to Senior Drilling Supervisor for decision making.
• Emergency situation and/or when lives and properties are endangered including medical evacuation, typhoon emergency situation, blow-out emergency, default of simultaneous drilling and production operation etc.
• Promote and ensure all the health, safety and environment activities follows and comply with Company’s HSE policies, procedures and regulations and effectively implemented to secure work environment in order to meet COMPANY HSE plan and targets.
• Develop and establish department policies and procedures by formulating and reviewing operational needs and obtaining approval and ensure compliance with business requirements, strategies and objectives.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by Superior.

Requirements

• Possess at least Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Familiar and have a strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data
• Malaysian or Thai national only
• At least 8 years of experience as a Drilling Supervisor
• Must currently hold valid IWCF / IADC well control certificate
• Extensive knowledge and experience of Drilling batch factory model including offline activity while drilling
• Good knowledge and experience of the drilling SIMOPS activity
• Good knowledge and experience of the risk assessment and how to apply to the operations.
• Good knowledge and experience of the BBS and SWA safety system and how to apply to the operations.
• Must have solid experience in a regional role ideally including experience covering Gulf of Thailand - JDA Thai-Malaysia drilling area.
• Have a strong leadership who can manage multiple stakeholders both rig contractor and services companies
• Have a strong mentoring and coaching skills who builds high performing teams
