Job summary
A nursing care facility in Tasek Gelugor, Malaysia is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide quality nursing care and oversee the daily activities of caregivers. Responsibilities
- Deliver quality nursing care, including hygiene, monitoring, and treatment.

- Lead admissions, transfers, and discharge of residents.
- Recognize and respond promptly to medical emergencies.
- Supervise and guide carers in daily care.
- Assess residents’ health conditions and communicate changes to the doctor.

Recognize and respond promptly to medical emergencies, including calling for medical support
Supervise and guide carers in daily care and ensure adherence to nursing standards
Support visiting doctors/dentists and arrange specialist appointments as needed
Maintain and enforce infection control, safety, and professional nursing standards at all times
Assess residents’ health conditions and communicate significant changes to the attending doctor.
Coordinate hospital or clinic referrals and accompany residents when medically indicated
Maintain healthcare reports, medication records, and care plans accurately and timely
Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, toileting, dressing, feeding and mobility
Ensure clean and comfortable environment, including changing bed linens and handling soiled laundry appropriately
Accompany residents to hospital or clinic appointments as instructed
Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
Assist in maintaining proper stock and cleanliness of medical equipment and supplies in the area
- Registered Nurse with valid practising certificate (Malaysia Nursing Board)
- Clinical experience in geriatric/elderly care preferred
