Qualifications

  • Minimum SPM / STPM, Diploma or Degree qualification or equivalent.
  • Possess a valid driving license (Class D) with a clean driving record.
  • At least 2-5 years of experience in customer service, transport, or car rental operations preferred.
  • Basic understanding of vehicle mechanics, maintenance schedules, and inspection procedures.
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily pre- and post-inspections of vehicles and report issues.
  • Assist in vehicle delivery and collection, ensuring proper documentation.
  • Provide backup support during staff absences and handle company tools responsibly.

Job Purpose

Job Purpose: To provide exceptional customer service while supporting daily branch operations, managing vehicles, and performing chauffeur duties. The role ensures smooth operations, timely vehicle readiness, and consistently high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Vehicle Management
    • Conduct daily pre- and post-inspections of vehicles and report any mechanical issues or damages immediately.
    • Ensure vehicles are sent for servicing, PUSPAKOM inspection, and scheduled maintenance on time.
    • Oversee fueling, cleaning, and overall readiness of vehicles for rental or delivery.
  2. Operations & Logistics Support
    • Assist in vehicle delivery, collection, and handovers to clients or branches, ensuring proper documentation.
    • Support administrative tasks including inspection reports, mileage logs, and vehicle movement records.
    • Coordinate with fleet and service teams to reduce downtime and ensure smooth workflow.
    • Issue work orders to vendors, verify invoices, and follow up on repair progress.
    • Respond promptly to vehicle breakdowns and assist in arranging replacements or towing as needed.
  3. Branch Operational Support
    • Provide backup support during staff absences and handle vehicle keys, GPS devices, and tools responsibly.
    • Ensure all activities comply with company SOPs to maintain consistent service standards.
    • Be available for on-call or breakdown duties during weekends and public holidays on a rotational basis.
    • Provide safe, punctual, and courteous driving services for clients, passengers, or company personnel.
    • Maintain cleanliness, roadworthiness, and readiness of assigned vehicles.
    • Deliver a professional customer experience, assisting passengers with entry, exit, and luggage handling.
  4. General
    • Perform other related duties as required within the scope of operations.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum SPM / STPM, Diploma or Degree qualification or equivalent.
  • Possess a valid driving license (Class D) with a clean driving record.
  • At least 2-5 years of experience in customer service, transport, or car rental operations preferred.
  • Good knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and safety practices.
  • Basic understanding of vehicle mechanics, maintenance schedules, and inspection procedures.
  • Good personality, strong communication, time management, and customer service skills.
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Willing to work weekends, public holidays, and rotational on-call duties when required for emergency breakdown.
  • Physical fitness fit to perform physical tasks such as inspecting vehicles, driving, and handling logistics.
  • Able to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently under minimal supervision.
