Job summary
A recruitment firm is seeking a Safety and Health Officer in Nibong Tebal, Penang. The role includes leading safety committees, conducting safety audits, and ensuring compliance with local safety regulations. Candidates should have a minimum Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health and at least three years of relevant experience. Strong knowledge of Malaysian safety regulations is essential. The company is willing to sponsor candidates without a DOSH Green Book but with OSH Coordinator experience. This is a full-time on-site position.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.
- Possess a valid DOSH Green Book or CePSWaM certification.
Responsibilities
- Lead Safety Committee and Emergency Response Team activities.
- Implement safety awareness programs in the workplace.
- Conduct periodic safety audits, risk assessments, and accident investigations.
