Job summary
A manufacturing company in Johor, Malaysia is seeking a Quality, Environmental, and OH&S Executive. Key responsibilities include executing quality control activities, conducting environmental monitoring, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate should have a diploma in a relevant field and at least 3 years of experience in quality and safety management. Proficiency in English and Microsoft Office is required, along with a passion for continuous learning and teamwork.

- Familiarity with ISO certifications, Environmental regulations, and Fire Safety regulations.
- Able to read and write in English for preparing QEHS documents.
Responsibilities
- Execute QC, QA, Environmental, and OH&S activities.
- Conduct audits and inspections related to compliance.
- Ensure proper usage and calibration of measuring equipment.
Skills
Education
- Day-to-day execution of the QC activities, including:
- Perform incoming, in-process and outgoing inspections
- Detection, handling and disposition of nonconforming goods
- Ensure proper usage and calibration of measuring equipment
- Customer witness inspections
- Day-to-day execution of the QA activities, including:
- Generation of Material Test Certificates, Product Quality Plans, Project Quality Plans and other Quality documentation
- Supplier evaluations and site audits
- Audits from customers and certification bodies
- Day-to-day execution of the Environmental activities, including:
- Monitoring of scheduled wastes, air scrubber and industrial effluent treatment plant
- Environmental briefings, environmental inspections and legal compliance evaluations
- Audits from customers and certification bodies
- Day-to-day execution of the OH&S activities, including:
- Investigations of workplace incidents and accidents
- Usage and certification of lifting equipment
- Safety briefings, safety inspections and legal compliance evaluations
- Audits from customers and certification bodies
- Ensure compliance of the company’s QMS, EMS & OHSMS to the relevant legal/regulatory requirements and international standards.
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or higher, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Quality Engineering or related field
- At least 3 years of Quality, Environmental and/or OH&S experience
- Familiarity with mechanical testing, XRF testing, microscopic examination, ISO certifications, Environmental regulations, Fire Safety regulations, Occupational Health & Safety regulations, etc. will be helpful
- Able to read and write in English, in order to prepare QEHS documents
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- 5-day working week.
