Job summary

A prominent technology company in Johor, Malaysia, is seeking a Quality Manager to lead quality assurance initiatives. The role requires over 5 years of experience in quality management in FMCG manufacturing and proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Chinese-Mandarin. Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the introduction and promotion of internal quality methods and tools, and conduct quality awareness training for quality management personnel.
• Establish, implement and maintain the company's quality assurance system, including customer orientation, traceability, non-conforming product control procedures, etc.
• Assist in improving the Quality/Environment/Occupational Health and Safety (QEH&S) Management System, ensure its effective operation, and continuously enhance product quality to meet customer requirements.
• Take charge of the daily management of the quality department, including budget planning and performance monitoring; responsible for the recruitment, assessment of department staff and the establishment and implementation of incentive mechanisms.
• Lead team building, formulate and implement talent training plans with effective monitoring, so as to improve the overall competence of the quality team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Science and Engineering (full-time unified enrollment).
• More than 5 years of quality management experience in the electronic FMCG manufacturing industry.
• Familiar with production processes; proficient in applying 7 QC Tools, 5 Core Quality Management Tools and 5S On-site Management; possess knowledge and skills related to existing corporate management systems.
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational coordination abilities in team management; excellent project planning, overall coordination and execution capabilities.
• Language Requirements (Mandatory): Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia (spoken and written), English (spoken and written), and Chinese-Mandarin (spoken and written). Able to proficiently use all three languages for work communication, technical document drafting/reading, and internal & external coordination to ensure seamless cross-language collaboration. Strong learning and adaptability, able to quickly familiarize with local EHS regulatory trends and industry characteristics.
