Job summary

A manufacturing company in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia, seeks a Production Manager to oversee daily production schedules and ensure quality standards are met. You will supervise a team and manage production bottlenecks while driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience in production management, strong leadership skills, and familiarity with ISO and FSSC audit standards. This role requires a proactive and result-oriented approach to achieve production goals.

Job description

Plan, monitor, and oversee daily production schedules to achieve target output and quality standards.

Supervise a team of line leaders, mixers/crushers, manipulants, and operators.

Ensure product quality meets company and customer standards.

Manage work-in-progress (WIP) and production bottlenecks to ensure 100% order fulfilment.

Monitor and take action to reduce downtime, material rejection, and wastage.

Participate actively in internal and external audits (ISO, FSSC, SEDEX, etc.).

Collaborate closely with QC, Maintenance, Planning, Engineering, and Warehouse teams to resolve production-related issues.

Prepare and submit daily production reports, efficiency analysis, and improvement plans.

Drive continuous improvement to maximize labor and resource efficiency.

Requirements:

Minimum education level: SPM and above.

At least 1 year of experience in production management or a related manufacturing environment.

Familiar with ISO, FSSC, SEDEX, and other audit standards.

Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and guide the production team.

Proactive, result-oriented, and capable of solving problems under pressure.

Positive attitude and hands‑on approach to achieving production goals

Preferred:

Ability to analyze data and implement process improvements.
