• Strategic Compliance Management: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy aligned with company goals, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory requirements and overseeing policy development.
• Risk Mitigation and Training: Conduct regular risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and establish a robust compliance training program for all employees.
• Monitoring and Reporting: Implement monitoring mechanisms, internal controls, and reporting systems to track compliance activities, report violations, and recommend corrective actions.
• External Engagement and Ethical Culture: Serve as the primary contact for regulatory bodies, promote an ethical culture, and develop an incident response plan for timely resolution of compliance violations.
• Industry Awareness and Reporting to Leadership: Stay informed about industry trends, report compliance performance to senior management and the Board of Directors, highlighting areas of concern and improvement.
• Reports into Director & Group CFO.

• Masters degree in a related field.
• Have held a compliance position in the commodity trading space for the past 10+ years.
• Tax Compliance knowledge and understanding.
• Confirmed advanced knowledge with customs regulations, complex classification, origin determination and free trade program management.
• Located in Mumbai.
