Job summary
A manufacturing company in Malaysia is seeking a self-driven procurement executive to efficiently source materials and negotiate with suppliers. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation and communication skills and be experienced in purchasing within the machinery or electronic manufacturing sectors. Responsibilities include managing supply chain tasks, liaising with suppliers for timely deliveries, and ensuring cost efficiency. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications
- 1 - 2 years related working experience in purchasing/buyer preferred.
- Knowledge in Purchasing/Inventory/Material (Electronics & Mechanical) and Warehouse Management is an advantage.

- Source direct and indirect materials requested by internal departments.
- Deal with suppliers for the best price and payment terms.
- Liaise with suppliers for timely delivery.
- Coordinate and monitor all purchases to avoid shortages, overcharges, and breakage.

- Analyse cost reduction activities, sustainability activities & alternative part replacement.

- A recognized Diploma/Degree in Operation Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Technology Management or equivalent education.
- Preferably 1 - 2 years related working experience in purchasing/buyer in the machinery / electronic manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge in Purchasing/Inventory/Material (Electronics & Mechanical) and Warehouse Management is an added advantage
- Self-starter and good in communication/negotiation skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
