Job summary
A leading recruitment agency in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a professional for mechanical design and cost estimation, particularly in HVAC and General Process Utility. The selected candidate will support clients to secure projects, attend relevant meetings, and provide on-site supervision. Candidates should have strong knowledge in mechanical design and HVAC systems, with previous experience in a Japanese engineering or consulting firm seen as an advantage. Familiarity with Malaysian standards is essential.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge in mechanical design, cost estimation, and HVAC systems.
- Experience in a Japanese engineering or consulting firm is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Malaysian engineering standards and authority requirements.
Responsibilities
- Design and cost estimation, especially in HVAC and General Process Utility.
- Support and advise clients to secure and obtain projects.
- Attend meetings with clients, authorities, and sub-contractors.
- Propose solutions aligned with client needs and budget.
- Ensure submissions and approvals from relevant authorities.
- On-site supervision and coordination with sub-contractors.
- Monitor construction progress to ensure timelines are met.
- Explain technical specifics clearly to peers and clients.
