Job description

Oversee the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of Starlinger recycling machines and auxiliary equipment (conveyors, pumps, motors, shredders, extruders).

Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to maximize machine uptime.

Diagnose mechanical failures and recommend corrective actions to minimize production loss.

Work closely with production teams to optimize machine performance for consistent pellet quality.

Analyse equipment performance data and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.

Implement mechanical modifications or upgrades as needed.

Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machines or equipment.

Conduct mechanical testing and ensure all machinery meets manufacturer specifications and safety standards.

Ensure all mechanical operations comply with safety regulations and company policies.

Promote safe working practices and conduct periodic safety audits of machinery.

Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and spare parts inventory.

Prepare reports on machine downtime, repair costs, and maintenance schedules.

Provide technical guidance to maintenance staff and operators on mechanical issues.

Train team members on proper operation and preventive maintenance of equipment.
