A leading technology company is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Penang, Malaysia, to drive product design and development. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in product design. Responsibilities include designing for mechanical and environmental requirements, collaborating with internal teams to meet project goals, and performing risk assessments. Strong CAD skills, particularly with Creo, are highly preferred.

This recently acquired business designs and builds a broad array of antennas for communication products serving a broad range of industries. The selected candidate will be responsible for working with the team to translate customer needs into product designs. They will be responsible for working independently to reach product development and design milestones, as well as communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences. They will work internally with sales, manufacturing, and other related groups, working to ensure that the delivered product meets all quality, performance and cost goals. While we don\u2019t require anyone with specific product experience, product design capabilities and familiarity with the rf/antenna/microwave space will enhance any candidate\u2019s credentials.
