What can you expect for this roles:
- Support CM (Contract Manufacturer) to troubleshoot PCBA production issues and implement corrective actions promptly, minimize downtime, optimize production parameters, and ensure continuous production improvement.
- Support necessary documentation of processes, procedures, and work instructions to help CM comply with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate and cross-function with PCBA manufacturing, engineering, procurement, and quality assurance teams to assist CM in implementing design changes and process improvements.
- Apply lean methodologies (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping) to help CM streamline workflows, reduce waste, and shorten production cycle times. Analyze and optimize workstation layouts and designs to enhance production efficiency
- Support CM in estimating PCBA production times and developing schedules to meet customer demand and delivery timelines.
- Execute the First Article Inspections (FAI), In-Process Quality Control (IPQC), and Final Quality Control (FQC) audits at CM, and provide improvement recommendations.
Skills that will help you succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering , Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience in the PCBA industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders, including customers.
- Strong knowledge of electronic components in PCBA, raw PCB materials, mechanical parts, and SMT/DIP/FT assembly processes.
- Hands-on experience in motherboard or computer/server device assembly, including electrical components, testing, and inspection, is a plus.
- Strong analytical, practical problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with tools such as 8D, Six Sigma, or PMP certification is a plus.
