A leading food manufacturing company in Malaysia is looking for a Key Account Manager to develop and implement strategic account plans aimed at achieving revenue and growth targets. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in Key Account Management or Business Development within the food sector, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to build lasting client relationships. This role includes negotiating contracts and working collaboratively across various teams to ensure client satisfaction.
Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, understanding their business needs and objectives.
Identify opportunities for up‑selling and cross‑selling products to maximize account value.
Monitor account performance, analyze sales data, and provide regular reports to management.
Coordinate with internal teams (sales, marketing, operations, and customer service) to ensure timely delivery and quality service.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms in alignment with company policies and client expectations.
Resolve client issues or escalations promptly to maintain strong relationship and high retention rates.
Track market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to inform strategic decisions.
