Maintenance Technician
Job summary
A fast food franchise in Klang City is looking for a skilled maintenance technician to handle troubleshooting and servicing of kitchen equipment. The ideal candidate should have a Certificate/Diploma in M&E, 1-2 years of relevant experience, and be proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English. This role involves preventive maintenance and some after-hours work. Benefits include meal vouchers, career development, and annual dinners.

- 1-2 years hands-on experience in servicing fast food kitchen equipment.
- Candidate with own transport and GDL licence will be an advantage.
- Able to work after office hours and with minimum supervision.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and servicing of equipment.
- Carry out preventive maintenance and routine inspections.
- Update and keep proper maintenance records.
Skills
Education
- Responsible in trouble shooting, maintenance and servicing of the kitchen equipment and electrical appliances
- Responsible to carry out scheduled preventive maintenance exercise and routine inspection check list
- Carry out reliable and effective maintenance work within timeline / standard
- To standby and carry out repair work after office hours (based on shift)
- Update and keep proper maintenance record file
- To assist supervisor in enhancement project to reduce downtime and improve quality
- To prepare maintenance report as and when required
- To evaluate and report on store maintenance condition
- To perform any other duties and responsibilities as and when necessary
- Certificate / Diploma in M&E, Preferably Non-Executive specializing in Electrical or equivalent
- At least 1-2 years hands-on experience in servicing & repairing of fast food kitchen equipment's (eg: bun toaster, electric fryer etc)
- Candidate with own transport and have GDL licence will be an advantage
- Good spoken and written in Bahasa Malaysia and English
- Able to work after the office hour (on-call) and long hour
- Able to work with minimum supervision
- Willing to travel within Malaysia on frequent basis
