Responsible for ensuring our Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards are effectively implemented and continuously improved.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining QHSE documentation; upkeep quality and safety documents ensuring they are properly registered, stored, and easily accessible.
- Reviewing documentation to ensure QHSE materials are in line with current company practices and are being implemented effectively.
- Conducting internal audits to assess the effectiveness of QHSE policies and procedures.
- Coordinating external audits (client, ISO, etc.), ensuring all documentation is in order and audit results remain at a high standard.
- Monitoring and tracking QHSE performance metrics; preparing reports and supporting documentation.
- Policy development and implementation: drafting and updating safety policies to align with current laws and industry standards, collaborating with different departments to create comprehensive and applicable policies.
- Training and awareness: educating staff through training programs and maintaining records of training attendance.
- Collaborating with multiple departments and branches to support QHSE initiatives and ensure compliance across disciplines.
- Actively engaging with clients and vendors during audits and QHSE-related activities.
Requirements
- Experience in QHSE coordination.
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards and audit processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and reporting skills.
- Strong team player with the ability to coordinate across multiple departments.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement.
