Senior Interior Designer (Team Lead)

What You’ll Do
- Act as the primary client liaison, ensuring smooth communication from design to construction.
- Lead and mentor junior designers/interns in mood boards, 3D visuals, and detailed 2D drawings.
- Translate client needs into practical, creative, and aesthetic solutions in close collaboration with Sales & Marketing.
- Present and refine design concepts with clients to deliver results that exceed expectations.
- Conduct site assessments, validate specifications, and ensure precise measurements.
- Coordinate project handovers and site briefings with the Project department and contractors.
- Take charge of material sourcing and procurement.
- Perform site visits for quality assurance, issue resolution, and final inspections.
- Maintain detailed project documentation to ensure transparency and accountability.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: Diploma/Degree in Interior Design or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in interior design, preferably with landed home/residential projects.
li>Leadership: Proven ability to guide, mentor, and manage a design team.
- Language: Proficiency in Mandarin (to liaise with Mandarin‑speaking clients & stakeholders).
- Skills: Strong B2C communication and project coordination skills.
- Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3Ds Max, SketchUp.
- Bonus: V‑Ray, Corona, Adobe Suite, MS Office.
- Familiarity: Landed house design and on‑site management.
- Personal: Creative flair, proactive attitude, independent working style, and reliable transport within Klang Valley.
