Job summary

A steel manufacturing company is seeking a Supply Chain Executive (Systems Focus) in Penang to support ERP implementation. Ideal for juniors with strong data management skills, this role involves maintaining data accuracy, assisting in system improvements, and providing training. The candidate should have a diploma/degree in Supply Chain Management and experience with ERP systems, particularly in manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 23 years of relevant experience, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of supply chain processes: planning, procurement, inventory control, logistics, and warehouse management.

Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate data entry and maintenance of master data within the ERP system.
  • Assist in compiling and updating supply chain data for planning and reporting.
  • Support system testing, upgrades, and implementation of new modules.
  • Provide end-user training and develop SOPs and training materials related to system use.
  • Collect, update, and integrate data for end-to-end supply chain planning.
