Job summary
A dynamic career consultancy in Damansara, Selangor is seeking an Assistant Finance Manager who is fluent in Mandarin and has a background in construction or property. The successful candidate will manage the full set of accounts, ensuring accurate financial reports while assisting in budget preparation and statutory reporting. Candidates should possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a professional qualification like ACCA/CPA, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience. Experience in property development is a plus.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
- Ability to prepare accurate financial reports promptly.
- Experience in property development is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full set of accounts for assigned companies.
- Oversee development cost schedules and progress billings.
- Assist in statutory reporting and annual budget preparation.

- Responsible for the full set of accounts of the assigned companies, including general accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, tax and treasury, ensuring the financial reports are prepared accurately and timely.
- Responsible for schedules for development costs, progress billings, redemption sums, and debtors.
- Responsible for preparation of tax estimation and schedules for assigned company accounts.
- Assist in various accounting papers, statutory reporting requirements, annual budget, and forecasts.
- Assist in any ad hoc task assigned.
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a professional qualification ACCA / CPA.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience leading juniors or a small team is an added advantage.
- Experience in the property development industry is an added advantage.
