Position: English Language Course Counsellor (Teacher)

Openings : 2 full-time positions (immediate hiring)

Openings : 1 full-time position (Must be able to read, write and speak Mandarin)

Experience: 2 – 4 years

Salary Range: RM3,600 – RM4,000

Job Responsibilities

Conduct engaging and interactive online English classes for adult learners.

Prepare, design, and deliver lesson plans and teaching materials in line with Smartway’s methodology and CEFR standards.

Facilitate a student-centered learning environment, encouraging participation and practical usage of English.

Provide constructive feedback and progress reports to learners and management.

Participate in teacher development programmes, team discussions, and contribute to new initiatives.

Carry out other academic or administrative tasks as required by the management.

Requirements :

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in TESL, English Education, TESOL, Linguistic or related fields).

2 to 3 years of online teaching experience (adult learners preferred)

Strong command of English (spoken and written).

Familiarity with online teaching platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, LMS).

Ability to adapt teaching styles to students’ needs and maintain professional classroom management.

Passionate, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement.

Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Willing to go the extra mile and contribute beyond teaching

Fast learner with the ability to see the bigger picture

Multilingual ability is an advantage

Must be available to work on weekends

Preferred Skills

• TESOL/TEFL/CELTA certification (advantageous but not compulsory).
• Proficiency in Mandarin (an added advantage)
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
• IT savvy & Proficient in Zoom
