A construction management firm is seeking a Senior Project Manager based in Muar, Johor, to oversee all phases of construction and development projects. Senior Project Manager

Location: Muar, Johor

Full time (Contract)

Salary range: RM 10,000 – RM 15,000 per month

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, plan, and manage all phases of construction and development projects from initiation to completion.
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project milestones and deadlines are achieved.
  • Monitor project progress, maintain quality standards, and control budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Prepare and present regular project updates and reports to management and stakeholders.
  • Identify potential risks or issues early and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure all projects comply with local laws, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Supervise, guide, and mentor project team members to drive performance and accountability.
  • Oversee tender processes, negotiate contracts, and manage procurement activities as needed.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in project management, ideally within the property development or construction industry.
  • Demonstrated success in managing large-scale construction or development projects.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Capable of coordinating diverse stakeholders and leading cross‑functional teams.
  • Proficient in project management software/tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, AutoCAD).
  • In‑depth knowledge of Malaysian construction laws, building codes, and safety standards.
  • Johor‑based candidates or those willing to be based in Johor are strongly preferred.
  • Possession of PMP or equivalent certification will be considered an added advantage.
