Senior Project Manager
Location: Muar, Johor
Full time (Contract)
Salary range: RM 10,000 – RM 15,000 per month
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, plan, and manage all phases of construction and development projects from initiation to completion.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project milestones and deadlines are achieved.
- Monitor project progress, maintain quality standards, and control budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Prepare and present regular project updates and reports to management and stakeholders.
- Identify potential risks or issues early and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Ensure all projects comply with local laws, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Supervise, guide, and mentor project team members to drive performance and accountability.
- Oversee tender processes, negotiate contracts, and manage procurement activities as needed.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in project management, ideally within the property development or construction industry.
- Demonstrated success in managing large-scale construction or development projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Capable of coordinating diverse stakeholders and leading cross‑functional teams.
- Proficient in project management software/tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, AutoCAD).
- In‑depth knowledge of Malaysian construction laws, building codes, and safety standards.
- Johor‑based candidates or those willing to be based in Johor are strongly preferred.
- Possession of PMP or equivalent certification will be considered an added advantage.
