Kenique Veterinary Centre in Jelutong, Penang is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Nurse / Assistant to join our growing team. As a Veterinary Nurse / Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our animal patients and their owners. • Assisting veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and major surgical procedures
• Monitoring and caring for hospitalised patients, including administering medications, changing bandages, and providing comfort and support
• Performing routine tasks such as taking and processing laboratory samples, sterilizing equipment, and maintaining a clean and organised work environment
• Educating clients on proper pet care, nutrition, and preventive health measures
• Maintaining detailed medical records and client communication
• Providing exceptional customer service and addressing client concerns and inquiries

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Veterinary Nurse / Assistant or relevant training in veterinary or animal care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both clients and the veterinary team
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
• Compassionate and caring nature, with a genuine love for animals
• Proficiency in basic veterinary procedures and medical terminology
