Job summary

A financial services company in Petaling Jaya is seeking a full-time accounting professional. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily accounting transactions including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payments, and journals.
  • Perform bank and account reconciliations.
  • Process SST submissions and ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations.
  • Support the preparation and issuance of e-Invoices in compliance with LHDN guidelines.
  • Maintain proper filing of financial documents and ensure completeness of supporting documents.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Support the preparation of financial reports and summaries as required.
  • Liaise with vendors, customers, and internal departments to resolve any discrepancies or queries.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Finance Manager or Management.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of relevant working experience is preferred. Fresh graduates may be considered.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with accounting software (e.g., SQL Accounting Software, SAP and etc) is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of SST regulations and LHDN’s e-Invoice framework is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
  • Able to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
