Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and organised Shipping Logistic Coordinator to join our team at YEONG CHAUR SHING PAPER MILL SDN BHD'. In this full-time position based in Krubong Melaka, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of our products to customers both locally and internationally.

What you'll be doing

• Coordinate and oversee all shipping and logistics activities, including liaising with freight forwarders, customs brokers and carriers
• Prepare and process shipping documentation such as packing lists, commercial invoices, bill of ladings, and other required paperwork
• Monitor shipment status and provide regular updates to customers on delivery timelines
• Collaborate with the sales and production teams to ensure shipments are prepared and dispatched as per customer requirements
• Identify and resolve any issues or delays in the shipping process, and implement measures to prevent future occurrences
• Maintain accurate records and data on all shipping activities
• Support the continuous improvement of our logistics operations

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a shipping or logistics coordination role, preferably within the manufacturing or import/export industry
• Strong working knowledge of shipping and customs procedures, documentation, and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
• Proficiency in using relevant logistics and shipping software and systems
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
• A team player with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach
