Kenique Veterinary Centre in Jelutong, Penang is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Nurse / Assistant to join our growing team. As a Veterinary Nurse / Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our animal patients and their owners. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment and contribute to the health and well‑being of the local community's beloved pets.

What you’ll be doing

• Assisting veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and major surgical procedures
• Monitoring and caring for hospitalised patients, including administering medications, changing bandages, and providing comfort and support
• Performing routine tasks such as taking and processing laboratory samples, sterilizing equipment, and maintaining a clean and organised work environment
• Educating clients on proper pet care, nutrition, and preventive health measures
• Maintaining detailed medical records and client communication
• Providing exceptional customer service and addressing client concerns and inquiries

What we’re looking for
