Epicon Berhad is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Site Safety Supervisor to join our team in Ipoh Meru, Perak. As a Site Safety Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well‑being of our construction site personnel. This full‑time position is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about workplace health and safety within the construction industry.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare the pre‑job hazard assessment and required documentation.
• Ensure contractors and workers comply with the safety requirements on site.
• Comply with all safety & health requirements at customer sites.
• Assist the Project Manager on safety matters, procedures and specifications as required by the client.
• Ensure all workers wear PPE.
• Perform inspections on tools and equipment used by contractors.
• Identify any safety issues during project execution.
• Check inventory of the first aid box weekly.
• Ensure workers’ passports, work permits, CIDB or other necessary documents are valid for site work.
• Attend safety meetings at the site.
• Ensure all safety requirements are complied with by everyone on site.
• Ensure workers work in a safe and healthy condition.
• Ensure all equipment/machinery comply with safety requirements and are safe to use.
• Coordinate housekeeping activity with the site team to maintain site cleanliness and tidiness.
• Prepare safety reports, HIRARC, etc.
• Brief workers and ensure they work according to the Job Safety Analysis and HIRARC.
• Notify superiors of any urgent or emergency situations on site.
• Participate in incident investigations.
• Check the certificate of PMA & PMT.
• Perform all other tasks that reasonably relate to regularly assigned tasks.

Job Requirements

• At least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years’ working experience in a related field.
• Must possess a Yellow Book.
