We are seeking an experienced CNC Technician to join our team at Ohta Precision (M) Sdn Bhd, a leading metal machining and fine-pitch gear manufacturing company based in Kajang, Selangor. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for maintaining various types of machinery to produce high-quality precision components for automotive, life‑science / medical, aerospace, oil & gas and office automation and home‑appliances.
- Operate and set up CNC machines (milling, turning, or grinding) according to specifications.
- Interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
- Perform quality checks using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor machine issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and production targets.
- Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing/related field or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in CNC machining, set‑up, and operation.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
- Willing to work in shifts and overtime if required.
