We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance & Control Executive to join our team at Scentium (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (formerly known as Flavor Inn Corporation Sdn Bhd), in Kota Kemuning, Selangor. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and consistency of our manufacturing processes and end products.

Key responsibilities

Performing regular quality inspections and testing on raw materials, production processes, and final products to identify and resolve any quality issues.

Maintaining detailed quality control records and generating reports to track performance and trends.

Collaborating with production teams to implement corrective and preventative actions to improve quality standards.

Conducting audits and investigations to identify the root causes of quality problems.

Providing training and guidance to production staff on quality control best practices.

Continuously seek ways to optimise quality processes and drive continuous improvement.

Ensuring compliance with all relevant quality, safety, and environmental regulations.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in food science/ food technology or equivalent.

Minimum 3 years' experience in a quality assurance or quality control role, preferably in the manufacturing or FMCG industry.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate & collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret quality data.

Excellent attention to detail, well organized and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and documentation.

Good knowledge of quality management systems, statistical process control, and manufacturing principles.

Experience with FSSC 22000 or GFSI certification scheme, Kosher, and other quality certifications preferred.

Proficient in using quality control tools and equipment, such as measuring devices, testing instruments, data analysis software and Microsoft Office.

Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with production teams.

Well versed in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
