Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping procedures and account reconciliation processes.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin, to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial records and reports.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant accounting software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new accounting practices and technologies.
Responsibility
- Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records using bookkeeping software.
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with accounting standards.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and accruals.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing and payment follow-up.
- Assist with tax preparation and filing, ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to address accounting-related inquiries and provide support.
- Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities through problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Maintain organized and well-documented financial records for audit purposes.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
