A leading electronics firm in Malaysia is seeking an environmental compliance expert who will focus on regulations such as ROHS and REACH. The role requires over 10 years of experience in environmental compliance, a degree in engineering, and proficiency in compliance documentation and relevant software. Responsibilities include generating compliance documentation, collaborating with internal teams, and advising stakeholders on environmental regulations. Strong analytical skills and effective communication are essential.
Serve as the internal expert on environmental (ROHS, REACH, Conflict Minerals, Prop 65, TSCA, PFAS, PVC, etc) regulation.
Interpret environmental regulations to support and provide solution for compliance needs.
Generate product environmental compliance documentation (industry reporting template, declaration, certification or etc).
Collect, review, and analyse product compliance data.
Continuously monitor global environmental changes and provide insights to internal and external stakeholders.
Give advice on industry-specific compliance needs to internal and external stakeholders.
Provide support and training for internal teams regarding the regulations and compliance requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and update internal processes, policies, and procedures.
Performs any statutory, regulatory, environmental or HAZMAT scrubs on Bill of Materials (BOM) or its related.
Any other task as assigned.
