Job summary
A leader in Malaysia's renewable energy sector is seeking a Battery Engineer to enhance the development and optimization of grid-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). Responsibilities include electrical design, on-site commissioning, and performance monitoring to ensure reliable integration with solar PV plants. Candidates should possess a degree in Electrical Engineering and have over 3 years of relevant experience. Technical expertise in the field is crucial for success in this role.
Qualifications
- 3+ years in grid-scale BESS, solar PV, or power systems engineering.
- Hands-on experience with MV switchgear and protection relays.
- Knowledge of battery testing and grid compliance.
Responsibilities
- Design and validate electrical architectures for grid-scale BESS.
- Lead on-site commissioning of BESS systems.
- Develop control strategies for grid services and analyze performance.
