Job summary
A company in the logistics industry is seeking a candidate to assist in preparing and processing purchase requisitions, maintaining supplier and inventory records, and supporting import/export documentation. The ideal candidate should have a minimum Diploma in a related field and 1-3 years of experience in logistics or admin support. Strong organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office are required, along with good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma or Certificate in a relevant field.
- 1–3 years of working experience in supply chain, logistics, or administrative support.
- Basic knowledge of purchasing, logistics, and inventory processes.
- Familiar with LMW documentation preferred.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and processing purchase requisitions and orders.
- Maintain supplier, logistics, and inventory records in the ERP system.
- Support import/export documentation and customs clearance.
- Ensure documents are properly filed and retrievable for audits.
- Assist in preparing monthly reports on logistics and inventory.
- Monitor stock levels and support stock count activities.
- Comply with company policies and safety regulations.
Skills
Education
Assist in preparing and processing purchase requisitions, purchase orders (PO), delivery orders (DO), and invoices.
Maintain and update supplier, logistics, and inventory records in the ERP system.
Support import/export documentation, customs clearance, and LMW-related paperwork. Responsible for LMW monthly tracking and update.
Ensure all documents are properly filed, controlled, and retrievable for audit and compliances purposes.
Assist in preparing monthly reports on purchasing, logistics, and inventory movements.
Monitor stock levels and support stock count or cycle count activities.
Support adhoc administration works assigned by the Supervisor/Manager.
Comply with company policies, safety regulations, and confidentiality standards.
- Min Diploma or Certificate in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
- 1–3 years of working experience in supply chain, logistics, or admin support.
- Basic knowledge of purchasing, logistics, and inventory processes.
- Familiar with LMW (Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse) documentation preferred.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an advantage).
