Job summary
A technology solutions provider in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced developer for applications using the OutSystems platform. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining applications and SQL optimization, along with integrating various AWS services. Ideal candidates will have 2-3 years of experience and strong skills in OutSystems, SQL, and React. The role offers contract options with potential renewal based on project needs.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of application development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with OutSystems.
- Proficiency in SQL and relational database design.
- Solid understanding of ORM concepts.
- Open to contract roles of 6+6 months.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain applications using OutSystems.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries and database structures.
- Build and maintain frontend components using React.
- Integrate applications with various AWS services.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Perform code reviews and application support.
- Collaborate with business analysts and DevOps teams.
- Participate in deployment and post-production support.
Skills
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain applications using OutSystems platform
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions with high performance and scalability
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, database structures, and integrations
- Build and maintain frontend components using React / React Native where applicable
- Integrate applications with AWS services such as EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, Step Functions, and API Gateway
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and best practices
- Perform code reviews, debugging, performance tuning, and application support
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA, and DevOps teams
- Participate in deployment, release management, and post-production support
- Minimum 2-3 years of application development experience in the relevant platform
- Strong hands-on experience with OutSystems
- Proficient in SQL and relational database design
- Solid understanding of ORM concepts (mandatory)
- Working knowledge of React / React Native
- Hands-on experience with AWS services:
- EC2
- RDS
- Lambda
- S3
- Step Functions
- API Gateway
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Open to consider contract (6 + 6 months) based roles - can be renewable based on project requirement
