Job description

Responsibilities

• Perform machine vision buyoff both in the factory and on-site with customers, ensuring it is completed within schedule and meets quality standards
• Perform machine vision verification prior to machine setup
• Prepare technical machine buyoff reports
• Conduct quality issue investigations, working closely with the vision development team to identify issues and implement solutions
• Provide technical training and application support to customers worldwide on machine vision products
• Troubleshoot vision equipment failures and diagnose faulty operations
• Perform vision evaluation for new applications and customer requirements
• Conduct vision hardware or software evaluation and prepare technical evaluation report accordingly
• Provide on-call or on-site support during days off when needed
• Prepare and update user manual and troubleshooting guidelines
• Follow the established safety rules and regulations
• Provide technical support to the setup and configuration team
• Prepare technical SOPs, work instructions, forms, and checklists for the internal team
• Undertake other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the company, ensuring timely and complete closure

Job Requirements

• Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronic/ Computer/ Physics)
• At least 1 year of relevant working experience in related field is preferred
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, willing to learn and work hard
• Experience and knowledge in vision system, image processing and optics is an added advantage
• Possess teamwork spirit, strong oral, written and interpersonal skills
