Computer Science jobs in Malaysia

Our client is a tech start-up from China, and its regional office in Singapore is hiring remote engineers and technicians to support their projects.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Write detailed test cases based on requirements and design documents, and perform manual and automated testing.
• Responsible for writing and maintaining automated scripts to ensure their stability and reusability.
• Work closely with the development team to drive defect resolution and conduct regression testing.
• Regularly perform performance, stress, and security testing to ensure application performance and system stability.
• Analyze test results, identify issues, and provide detailed test reports and improvement suggestions.
• Participate in product requirements and technical design reviews to ensure testability and quality assurance.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methods, and drive the adoption of new testing tools and technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3+ years of testing development experience, with at least 1 year of experience in automated testing framework development.
• Proficient in common automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Jest, JUnit, etc.), and capable of independently building and optimizing testing frameworks.
• Experience with performance testing, and familiar with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter etc.).
• Knowledge of common CI/CD processes, and the ability to integrate automated testing with the development
• team's continuous integration pipeline.
• Familiar with version control tools (e.g., Git) and defect management tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, etc.).
• Strong problem analysis and troubleshooting skills, good communication skills, and a team player.
• Experience with API testing, database testing, and web/mobile application testing is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized environments, with experience in testing within containers.
• Knowledge and experience in security testing and penetration testing.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) testing is a plus.
