Responsibilities
  • Provide SAP functional support on SAP logistic modules, including providing leadership and coaching to new or junior team members. Familiarity with other SAP modules is advantageous.
  • Work closely with users to understand requirements and develop solutions in accordance with organization/ client standards and architecture.
  • Analyze business requirements and mapping of those to SAP best practice business processes and data models to meet client requirements effectively.
  • Knowledge and ability to design and develop test plans for executing unit, integration, system, data conversion or acceptance testing.
  • Coordinate execution of support tasks with other team and be comfortable in working under the pressure of tight deadlines.
  • Conduct knowledge transfer and training of users.
  • Liaise with external/in-house developers and site support for system changes and maintenance.
  • Ensure project and support service level targets are met.
  • Perform production support activities (e.g., break/fix, how-to expertise, troubleshooting).
  • Good ability to plan projects and tasks.
  • Project management skills.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in discrete manufacturing environment.
  • At least 7 years’ experience in SAP functional support roles.
  • Expert functional business process is an advantage.
  • Exposure to system integration via EDI/ALE/IDOC/Ariba.
  • Strong communication with varying levels of audiences both written and verbal.
  • Excellent communication and problem resolution skills.
