About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Department (HOD) to lead our Integration & Middleware Solutions division. This role will oversee a team of 25-30 technical professionals delivering enterprise solutions in platforms such as MuleSoft, TIBCO, Oracle Integration, WSO2, Boomi or IBM WebSphere. The HOD will play a dual role driving business development growth while also providing technical advisory, solution design, and IT budgeting support to clients.

Responsibilities
- Leadership & Management – Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 25-30 solution architects, engineers, and consultants. Set performance goals, build capability, and foster a culture of innovation and accountability. Drive resource planning, training, and career development of the technical team.
- Business Development & Client Engagement – Partner with the sales team to identify and pursue business opportunities. Engage with C-level stakeholders to understand business needs and propose suitable integration solutions. Deliver solution presentations, technical proposals, and proof-of-concepts to clients.
- Technical Advisory & Solutioning – Provide expert-level guidance on enterprise integration and middleware technologies (MuleSoft, TIBCO, Oracle, WSO2, IBM WebSphere or Boomi). Lead solution architecture discussions, design integration roadmaps, and oversee implementation quality. Advise clients on IT strategies, digital transformation, and system integration best practices.
- IT Budgeting & Governance – Collaborate with clients on IT budgeting, cost optimization, and technology roadmaps. Ensure project profitability, resource utilization, and compliance with industry standards.
- Strategic Contribution – Align departmental strategies with companys overall business goals. Drive innovation and adoption of emerging integration technologies. Report to senior management on department performance, business pipeline, and technical capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 1215 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership or HOD role.
- Strong expertise in enterprise integration platforms (MuleSoft, TIBCO, Oracle Integration, WSO2, IBM WebSphere or Boomi).
- Proven track record in business development, client advisory, and solution selling.
- Solid experience in team leadership, project management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong knowledge of IT budgeting, cost control, and technology governance.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
