Job summary
A leading consulting firm in Petaling Jaya is seeking a software developer with 3-5 years of experience. You will work on designing and coding applications, ensuring maintenance according to SLAs. Candidates should have a degree in Computer Science or related fields, with knowledge of HTML, ASP.NET, and SQL Server. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Qualifications
- 3-5 years of software development experience.
- Hands-on experience in software development.
- Knowledge of computer languages, operating systems, and DBMS.
Responsibilities
- Gather and interpret user/system requirements.
- Design and code applications.
- Develop system specifications for complex components.
- Create operational documentation.
- Support installation of application releases.
- Maintain applications according to SLAs.
- Work on engineering solutions for system roll-outs and enhancements.
- Analyze and test new components or enhancements.
Skills
Education

- Work with team members to gather and interpret user/system requirements into design specifications
- Design and code applications to functional and technical programming standards
- Develop system specifications and interfaces for complex components
- Create operational documentation for the application
- Provide primary support for installation of application releases into production
- Maintain applications according to SLAs
- Work across the Service Delivery Lifecycle on engineering solutions for new system roll‑outs, major/minor enhancements, and/or ongoing maintenance of existing applications
- Analyze, design, build, and/or test new components or enhancements to existing modules
- Minimum 3 to 5 years working experience in software development field, with hands‑on software development experience.
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering with a specialization in software. Fresh graduates may also apply.
- Good development practices and software development life cycle methodologies throughout product development.
- Good verbal and written communication English skills.
- Has in‑depth knowledge of computer languages, operating systems, DBMS.
- Passionate in software development.
- Proficiency in HTML and JSP ASP.NET or C or VB.NET .NET family skills.
- SQL Server and some kind of data management skill.
