The Solution Architect will play a pivotal role in leading the design and implementation of complex, large-scale banking transformation projects. You will be responsible for defining the technical architecture, ensuring the alignment of technology solutions with business objectives, and leading cross-functional teams through the delivery lifecycle. This role requires extensive experience in banking, financial systems, and digital transformation.

Responsibilities include:

1. Designing and developing comprehensive architectural solutions for banking transformation initiatives, including core banking, digital banking, and payment systems.
2. Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translating them into effective technical solutions.
3. Leading technical decision-making and solution design processes, balancing innovation with risk and feasibility.
4. Ensuring solutions align with enterprise architecture standards and industry best practices.
5. Conducting architectural assessments and providing guidance on system performance, scalability, and reliability.
6. Acting as a subject matter expert in digital banking and API integration.
7. Working closely with project managers to define project scope, timeline, and resource requirements.
8. Mentoring and guiding development teams on best practices and architectural patterns.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect in the banking or financial services sector.
• Strong understanding of core banking systems, digital banking platforms, and transformation projects.
• Proficiency in API management, integration technologies, and middleware solutions.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.

Required skills

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect in the banking or financial services sector.
