Job description

THIS POSITIONDOES NOT REQUIRE CODING SKILL.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with relevant product managers, development teams and other stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of project requirements and identify potential quality concerns.

Conduct regression testing based on provided test cases to ensure that previously identified issues have been resolved and new changes have not introduced new defects on each development iteration.

Conduct multiple types of testing, including regression, progression, performance, functional, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Carry out exploratory tests to widen pre-existing test case libraries and further explore the target product on various devices and environments.

Continuously assess and refine the testing processes and strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the quality assurance process.

Identify defects / issues and produce a written defect report (template provided) which shall include description of the issues, detailed steps to reproduce, expected results and potential suggestions for improvements to the product managers & development team.

Requirements

Preferably candidate with Diploma/ Advanced/ Higher/ Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post-Graduate Diploma/ Professional Degree in Engineering (Computer/ Telecommunication), Computer Science/ Information Technology, or equivalent.

Fresh graduates candidates who possess equivalent skillsets are encouraged to apply.

Candidates should possess strong analytical & creative thinking skills and to be able to analyse a situation from multiple facets.

Candidates are expected to be detail-oriented, fast learning, able to work independently, with the ability to communicate potential concerns & issues.

Candidates should possess excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.

Candidates should possess a proactive attitude towards learning and adopting new technologies.

Prefer candidates who are passionate towards software testing.

Solid fundamental knowledge in computer networking / database design or structure / computer programming or system design / UI/UX design is a plus.

Mandarin speakers are a plus.
