JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Coordinates software and application deployments into various environments and ensures smooth release processes.
  • Monitors and supports production environment.
  • Manages and resolves daily operational tickets within SLA to ensure smooth business continuity.
  • Swiftly familiarises with our system architecture, team dynamics and department operational activities to provide hands‑on support.
  • Works with developers and systems engineering to identify potential operational issues with software and workflows before production release.
  • Develops and manages monitoring systems to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Designs, implements, and maintains automation solutions to improve operational efficiency.
  • Manages access provisioning and enforces security best practices.
  • Leads incident response efforts, troubleshoots complex issues, and drives root cause analysis.
  • Supports all company initiatives, policies, operating procedures and processes.
  • Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors and vendors.
  • Must be able to juggle priorities and multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment; the work can be routine and challenging at the same time.
  • Communicates well and is able to provide guidance to more junior engineers once fully trained and on‑board.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT or related disciplines.
  • Preferable to have at least 5‑6 years working experience in a computer engineering, software development or IT environment and be familiar with databases, operating systems or middleware.
  • Good understanding of software programming, software development, software releases, database management, networking concepts, cybersecurity and cloud computing.
  • Good understanding of modern, cloud‑centric architectures and microservices provides an advantage.
  • Systematic problem‑solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills, to work closely with US & EU teams as well as guide junior engineers, and a sense of ownership and drive.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments and perform in a diverse cross‑functional team environment.
Preferred Skills & Technologies
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure).
  • Proficiency in Kubernetes, Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash or similar languages.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (New Relic, Application Manager).
  • Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries for data analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of the Linux operating system, standard networking protocols and components will be an added plus.
